We had a short stay and the family running it was super nice! The room was clean and had all basic stuff. There’s even a cute picnic area outside which we loved. The shower pressure was awesome, but the keys were a bit iffy and took a few tries to work. Def not a place to go if you're looking for high-end.

Hearing the neighbors at late hours was a constant issue, making for restless nights. The sliding barn door on the bathroom had issues rolling on track, leading to a few moments where it got stuck. The room's decor wasn’t as advertised, lacking some of the expected updates, and the hard floor made the bed's loud metal frame annoying anytime we bumped into it.

I appreciated the wheelchair-accessible route and well-kept walkways that made navigating the Inn By The Bay Monterey easy and safe for seniors like myself. The comfortable mattress and plush pillows provided a restful sleep.

More accessible seating in common areas would be beneficial.
